THE EXCHANGE is a short documentary currently in production featuring specialists from the Santa Fe Mountain Center. These specialists maintain the harm deduction program in New Mexico. In the past year, the Santa Fe Mountain Center's needle exchange has collected 1 million used needles, distributed 3,000 doses of Naloxone, and recorded more than 780 successful overdose reversals. THE EXCHANGE shows these specialists' compassionate and public-centered approach to preventing the spread of infectious diseases and overdose deaths.
